Sophia Solano (she/her/ella) is an artist, activist, and Restorative Justice practitioner based in Newport, Oregon.

She serves on the board of Lincoln Community Dispute Resolution (LCDR) and Partnership Against the Abuse of Drugs and Alcohol (PAADA) having worked closely with both organizations over eight years, primarily as an intern with their juvenile diversion program.
She also works as the Coalition Coordinator for the Restorative Justice Coalition of Oregon (RJCO), curating a platform for RJ practitioners and programs to share information and convene regularly.
She is completing her M.S. degree in Conflict & Dispute Resolution at the University of Oregon's School of Law with a terminal project for Resolution Oregon, facilitating equity assessments for multiple Community Dispute Resolution Centers across the state.
As a graduate student, Sophia completed a 300+ hour internship with Center for Dialogue and Resolution (CDR)'s adult diversion program and was hired by the Oregon Office for Community Dispute Resolution to track legislative activity relevant to the field.
Sophia is a certified Mediator and RJ Facilitator in the State of Oregon and holds a B.A. in Philosophy: Ethics, Society, & Law from Pacific University.

Some of these topics are but not limited to Native American Culture, Motivational Speaking, Alcohol and Drug Prevention, Suicide Prevention, Juvenile Crime Prevention, Measure 11 Awareness, Teen Justice Panels and Restorative Justice.
Rusty has been appointed to several government committees, nonprofit board of directors and community restorative justice groups.
Rusty served as a carded volunteer doing Native American Religious Services for the Oregon Youth Authority, Oregon Department of Corrections and the Federal Correctional Institution.
Rusty worked as a Certified Prevention Specialist for the Confederated Tribes of the Siletz Indians and also as Juvenile Facility Counselor at the Lincoln County Juvenile Department.
